This Northbrook homeowner wanted to transform their closed-off galley kitchen into an open-concept space for entertaining. We removed a non-load-bearing wall, installed a large center island with waterfall quartz countertop, and designed custom white shaker cabinetry with soft-close hardware throughout.
The project included under-cabinet LED lighting, recessed ceiling lights on dimmers, a full-height subway tile backsplash, and wide-plank engineered hardwood flooring. Professional-grade appliances were integrated into the cabinetry for a seamless look.
